Shipping Policy

At Buhaya Solutions, we strive to provide efficient and affordable shipping for your restaurant equipment needs.

Free Freight Options:

• Orders within a 150-mile radius of any of our warehouse qualify for free freight when purchasing:
  • 1 refrigeration unit, or
  • 3 cooking units.
• Orders totaling $3,500 or more within the same region also qualify for free freight.

Standard Freight Charges:

• If the above conditions are not met, freight is 10% of the wholesale price.

Residential Deliveries:

• We can deliver to residential addresses for a $75 surcharge.
• Curbside Delivery Only: The driver will drop off the equipment outside the residence, and the recipient must sign for it. Inside delivery and installation services are not offered.

Shipping Details:

• For locations beyond the 150-mile radius, shipments are handled by 3PL carriers. Delivery schedules are typically 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and delivery dates depend on the 3PL carrier’s availability.
• If a customer insists on inside delivery but later requests a return, a $200 missed delivery charge will apply.

Delivery Inspection:

• Customers must inspect the equipment upon delivery. If immediate inspection is not possible, sign the delivery paperwork with the note: "Subject to inspection."
• Any damage must be reported to Buhaya Solutions within 3 business days of delivery. If reported within this timeframe, we will work to provide a replacement or offer a discount for minor damages.

Return Policy

Buhaya Solutions aims to ensure customer satisfaction with every purchase. However, we have specific guidelines for returns:

General Return Guidelines:

• Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase under the following conditions:
  • The item must be in original packaging and in brand-new condition.
  • A 25% restocking fee will apply.
  • Return shipping charges will be the responsibility of the customer.

• Any initial shipping fees (if applicable) are non-refundable.

Non-Warranty or Freight Damage Returns:

• Returns for reasons unrelated to warranty claims or freight damage will incur:
  • A 25% restocking fee, and
  • Return freight charges.

Warranty Terms:

• Stainless Refrigeration:
  • 3 years parts and labor warranty.
  • 5 years compressor warranty.
• Non-Stainless Refrigeration:
  • 2 years parts and labor warranty.
  • 5 years compressor warranty.
• Cooking Equipment:
  • 1 year parts and labor warranty.

Residential and Food Truck Use:

• All equipment is commercial-grade and not warranted for residential use.
  • If used in a residential setting, the warranty is void.
  • For equipment installed in food trucks, the warranty is limited to 1 year for parts and labor.

Freight Damage:

• Inspect all items upon delivery.
  • Report damages to Buhaya Solutions within 3 business days.
  • We will assist with a replacement or a discount for minor damages.
